manroland puts two into KL for regional service

manroland has strengthened its support team in South East Asia with the appointment of two experienced printing experts in manroland Malaysia, the regional headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. Peter Bähr becomes service manager for Malaysia and Singapore, and Sascha Renye lifecycle manager printservices. Bähr has 27 years experience in the printing industry, and took up his regional post in June with the main responsibility to structure and globalise manroland services further into the South East Asia Region and to provide prompt, professional, efficient, and cost effective services for customers. Renye joined manroland headquarters Germany in January 2007 as area services manager responsible for after sales solutions, training, support, and structuring the Western European market, and now takes on the new post of lifecycle manager printservices based in Kuala Lumpur. He will leverage rich experience from Europe to the Asian region broadening the customers’ visions for more opportunities and solutions all around printservices. Together with the printservices team, he will provide the customers with the most suitable consultation advice ensuring the reliability, the best printing quality and productivity of their presses during the press lifecycle. In addition with the team, he will proactively conduct site visits to the customers to know more about the real needs of the customers and provide them with the tailor-made solutions, such as upgrade solutions, service relating to manroland’s ProServ, TelePresence, MaintenanceManager and ServiceKits offerings.
