Following the success of Media2010, Fairfax Digital is again teaming up with X-MediaLab to present Digital Directions in Sydney in March.

The one-day ‘international gathering of digital thought leaders’ follows sellout events in the last couple of years.

It will showcase global best practice in digital media innovations and provide networking opportunities with powerbrokers, entrepreneurs and innovators in digital media across online, mobile, video, social media, advertising, marketing and IPTV.

Ten international guest speakers are travelling to Sydney to share expertise and examine changes in media and technology strategies, the preferences and behaviours of consumers, online engagement strategies and content monetisation.

Confirmed speakers include: Andrew Lacy - Senior Vice President and Head of Studio Operations for Disney Mobile; Cofounder of Tapulous (Palo Alto), Anthony Rose - Product Visionary & former CTO, YouView & Future Media Controller BBC (London), Baratunde Thurston - Web Editor, The Onion (New York), Rajat Paharia - Founder & Chief Product Officer, Bunchball (San Francisco), Safdar Mustafa - Head of Mobile Media, Al Jazeera (Doha), Vanessa Fox - Author of "Marketing in the Age of Google"; Creator of Google's Webmaster Central (Seattle) and Robert Tercek - one of the world's most prolific creators of interactive content (Los Angeles).

It will again be held at Doltone House on Pyrmont’s Jones Bay Wharf from 9am-5pm on March 3.
