Atex has appointed Jim Rose – who has been a non-executive director for the last six years – as its chief executive.

Alan Reardon reverts to being chief operating officer, a position he held for more than six years, while George McDevitt has joined Atex as chief financial officer after 15 years at Oracle.

Rose has been chief executive of several technology, media and marketing services companies over the last two decades.  A US national, he has dual citizenship with the UK, where he was based for more than 12 years.

He was previously chairman and CEO of Mosaic Sales Solutions, a privately held marketing services company based in Dallas, Texas. Prior to that, he led the French Havas Group’s Media Planning Group subsidiary in Paris.

With Reardon and McDevitt, he will drive continued growth of Atex from its roots in newspaper workflow management to multi-industry digital content and advertising innovator.

“Being a part of Atex for the past six years has allowed me to watch the company grow into one of the premier providers of digital solutions to the media industry,” he says. “This is an exciting opportunity and I’m proud to take a more direct role in driving Atex’s strategy in the years ahead.”
