DS Chemport (Australia) chief executive Graham McKenzie has retired after almost ten years at the company. He hands the reigns to Peter Drozdowicz, former chief financial officer.

Drozdowicz was one of the three original founding members of the company in 1987, with Peter Bitto and Michael Hanlon.

Over the past ten years DS Chemport has seen growth in all parts of the business in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia through its Malaysian operation. McKenzie says the company is well positioned for the challenges ahead, possessing an excellent team of people, first class facilities and the technical and financial support of our Japanese mother company.

"No doubt a closer and more intensive partnership with Fujifilm will be necessary as we go forward, and I am confident Peter Drozdowicz will guide DS Chemport on this path of co-operation," he says.

He has spent almost a lifetime within the printing industry, including Canada and Asia Pacific, and is currently on the board of Detmold Flexible Packaging as well as undertaking various projects for Fujifilm Australia.

• A new-look website has been launched for the company at www.dschemport.com.au with sections for newspaper and heatset applications.
