Japanese press maker TKS will be on edition at DRUPA, printing a full edition of the ‘Wall Street Journal’.

Multiple-section full-colour copies of the US financial broadsheet will be printed on a JetLeader 1500 inkjet web at the show from daily edition files.

The company will also exhibit a static low profile double-wide tower unit.

The jetLeader web will also produce other live jobs sheeted from a Vits Multicut LP27 sheeter. The TKS inkjet web was introduced in 2011 after two years of inhouse testing and development. It can print a variety of multi-section newspaper and commercial products and formats using drop on demand inkjet technology and online finishing, and has variable image and format capability.

The DRUPA press will have a 546.1 mm cutoff and 610 mm web width, and print at 600x600 dpi resolution at up top 150 metres/minute.

The 4x1 offset newspaper press tower is TKS’s Color Top Ecowide, a low profile tower designed specifically for installations in buildings with restricted conditions.
