Touch-screen press control is set to become a reality for ABB customers, with a new system to be available next year.
The new version of the MPS Control Console is among developments to be shown at WAN-Ifra’s World Publishing Expo (IfraExpo) in Frankfurt in October. It will be available from 2013 for both new installations and retrofit projects.
Also new is a low-cost, offline version of the company’s MPS Cockpit planning and management system – which can be expanded to full integration – and a DistributionDataPlanner solution to handle third-party distribution orders. ABB will also show an iPad-based version of its MPS Insight reporting and analysis system.
