Swiss newspaper press maker Wifag will launch a new ‘S-Line’ press series at the World Publishing Expo (IfraExpo) in Frankfurt next month.
No further details are currently available of the product launch, which follows the integration of know-how and the technical teams from Solna and Wifag in Fribourg, and will be a focus of its display at the WPE event (October 29-31).
Proprietary automation solutions will also be featured, allowing a “completely new price/performance ratio” based on Swiss quality, the company says. Wifag also partners to offer retrofit solutions worldwide.
Under the Wifag and Solna brand names, the company offers a range of press solutions from single width 2/1 machines up to high productivity double width.
