If you find yourself in London at the end of next month, a one-day INMA workshop at Telegraph Media group could be a unique event.
Mark Challinor - who has spoken at PANPA in Australia and at this year's INMA European Conference in Cascais, Portugal - hosts the Mobile Masterclass on January 26-27.
Challinor has an extensive background in newspapers and mobile, having started his career at now Trinity Mirror regional, the 'Liverpool Echo'. His work building mobile strategies at a variety of companies around the world has taken him to 'The Times of India' and 'The Sydney Morning Herald', and he has consulted in a mobile capacity with Schibsted (Norway) and the American Marketing Association.
He was also European managing director of a mobile consultancy and service provider (US based Phoenix Media/g8wave.com) before joining Telegraph Media Group as director of mobile.
Understanding "mobile" and "mobile publishing" is key to achieving success in the newsmedia industry today.
The workshop programme has been prepared by INMA's Mobile Publishing Committee, a volunteer group of mobile experts within the newsmedia industry.
Members include Dirk Barmscheidt (Brantalist, Berlin), Frédéric Filloux (Monday Note, Paris), Jan Lauren (Adeprimo, Stampen Group, Sweden), Peter Scheir (Styria Media, Austria), Caspar Van Rhijn (Corelio Publishing, Brussels), and Carsten Worsøe (Nordjyske Medier, Denmark).
