UK-based Lineup Systems says it is about to announce several “major new client sales” but has not confirmed that these include News Corporation sites in the UK and Australia.

The company says orders for its web-based advertising management system which have been in progress over recent months were concluded in the past few days. “The new deployments will see Lineup’s flagship product AdPoint implemented at leading multi-channel publishers in four countries, providing over 1000 new users with powerful and intuitive print and digital ad booking solutions,” says a statement.

“The new contracts will significantly increase Lineup’s market share and ranking among the most successful advertising system vendors, based on new business won.”

GXpress understands that News’ UK operation, News International, will be the first user within the media giant. Industry stalwart Mike Coghlan, who has joined Lineup in Australia, referred our enquiries to the company’s head office.

Lineup says it has recently invested significantly in hiring additional experienced industry experts, customer service staff and development technicians to support the new projects, with further expansion planned throughout 2013.

Cchief executive Michael Mendoza says “We have clearly demonstrated the powerful capabilities of our ad management tools and we’re pleased that our efforts have been validated by these major deals.

“Our work is not done though – the media industry remains an exciting and ever-changing landscape and innovation is Lineup’s driving force.”

The company says a “continuously enhanced” AdPoint has has delivered over £10 billion in ad revenue and trafficked over 12.5 million ads for more than 1000 international titles, sites and stations. It claims installations in 33 countries and support for users in 21 languages.

Current clients include Metro International, Time Out London, Time Out New York, UK regional publisher Archant, Village Voice Media Holdings and Abu Dhabi Media Company. “The new client agreements will add additional world class publishing brands to the list,” it says.
