Publishing workflow developer vjoon is expanding its push into the Asia-Pacific with a new integration partner in Hong Kong.
The German company says it is pushing for revenues growth in the region following the appointment of HK-based Compose System as reseller and integration partner.
vjoon’s chief executive Andreas Schrader says the Chinese subsidiary of a global media corporation is planning to use the K4 cross-media publishing platform, with Compose providing technical support.
“What’s more, vjoon succeeded in fast-tracking vjoon K4’s localisation so that it is now optimised to meet the demands of the Chinese market,” he says.
“The Asia-Pacific region in general and China in particular harbour enormous potential for growth.”
Compose managing director Tom Sit says the demand for professional publishing solutions is high among Chinese publishers and media companies, particularly working toward the multichannel publication: “Our customers believe vjoon K4 is way ahead when it comes to efficiently unifying the traditional world of print with the modern digital world.”
Among vjoon’s customers in the region are EvioTech in Thailand, Nexus IT & Communications Solutions in Australia and Cadgraf Digitals in India. The company also supports Vasan Publishing, New Straits Times Press and Trade & Logistics Siam.
