With the programme coming together, ppi Media has set the date and place for its 2014 open days.

Five speakers have been named for the event in Hamburg, Germany, from June 23-24, and promise to share strategies and experience. More are to follow.

From Bremer Tageszeitungen are production head Michael Kuth and managing editor Michael Wagner, Local Media Association chair Nancy Lane, and Times of India chief information officer Sachin Gupta are also slated to speak.

ppi’s US chief executive Markus Feldenkirchen is also on the programme, while Benjamin Adrion – former St. Pauli soccer player and initiator of ‘Viva con Aqua’ – has been booked as a dinner speaker.

“Once again, we are sure that you will find the programme both interesting and varied,” say chief operating officer
Norbert Ohl and customer projects senior vice president Claus Harders. “Apart from the many trends and best practices in the field of new media, classic newspaper production will also play a major role.”

The venue is the Empire Riverside hotel.
