News Corp is pitching to Chinese property buyers with a new Sydney directory site in both languages.

The new SydneyPropertyExperts.com is a product of News Corp Australia's NewsLocal division, and will compete with others including Realestate.com.au - which it part owns - and Fairfax Media's Domain.

The site will feature real estate content targeted specifically towards the Chinese community, including market trends, new developments, suburb hotspots and foreign investment issues.

It features a five-strong team including editorial manager Alison Cheung who is trilingual, with Mandarin, Cantonese and English on call. The team is headed by NewsCorp NSW real estate editor Tim McIntyre, with local area real estate experts Shayne Collier, Brendan Wong and Erin Forster.

Their market knowledge will be backed up by figures from CoreLogic RP Data.

NewsLocal editor-in-chief Kathy Lipari says the division identified a gap in the market for expert real estate content and analysis tailored specifically to Chinese-Australian audiences.

SydneyPropertyExperts.com will feature sections including Investment, Feature Properties, Market Reports, Ask the Experts and Development.
