IPEX organisers Informa are hoping to lure exhibitors back to the 2017 event with an "all-inclusive" package.

The UK print trade show returns to the NEC in Birmingham for just four days, from October 31-November 3.

"Returning to its roots" - or at least is most recent and successful previous venue after the disaster of London's ExCeL - delivers an easy-to-reach venue which popular with many European and international visitors and exhibitors. The aim is to make it a premier 'print in action' showcase.

Stands are being limited to 500 m2, with the price to include lifting equipment on and off, mains connection and power.

"Our aim is to deliver an event for exhibitors and visitors alike that showcases the best in print which means that we want the full spectrum of print equipment in action on the show floor," says event director Rob Fisher. "To facilitate this, we'll support exhibitors by picking up some of the extra, and sometimes hidden, costs of exhibiting.

"To our knowledge, it's an unprecedented move to pay for equipment and machinery lifting, and machinery mains power and consumption."
