Expanding mailroom capacity to deal with larger weekend packages is a nice problem to have.
In Nampa, Idaho, Pioneer News Group's Idaho Press-Tribune has consolidated packaging operations of the Idaho Statesman, a McClatchy property, and needed more capacity for their large weekend packages to increase production.
The publisher's Roger Stowell (pictured) says GIS was chosen for its knowledge of their requirements, and was on site and in three days. "They had us into production with a secondary delivery system and we are now able to meet and exceed production deadlines," he says.
