Evolution of the business has resulted in yet another name change for PF Media Technologies, which has announced a "full company rebrand" as News Hub Media.
The PF stood for PuzzleFlow, a name the company retired last September, pronouncing it "a little confusing".
The operation has previously also been known as PMT and Flashlight-Digital.
The new NHM brand reflects an expanded software portfolio that addresses media client needs throughout the whole creative and production process. These include products for multi-channel editorial workflow, digital asset management, page pairing workflow and imposition, page and ad preflighting and prefixing, automated image enhancement and mobile friendly PDF transformation.
President Richard Laframboise says the company has grown outside its original market: "The rebranding strategy identifies an expanded portfolio that is offered to the media industry. The name News Hub Media speaks to what we do and who it is for."
PMT changed its company name and product brands to PMT (PF Media Technologies) last September, retiring the PuzzleFlow brandname.
"Honestly, the name PuzzleFlow was a little confusing," Laframboise said then. "It was a legacy of the PDF foundation we used in our systems for many years."
