manroland web has launched its MainPad service and maintenance tablet as a preliminary stage of its Maintellisense rollout.
The MainPad becomes the hub for information in the event of damage and increases comfort during maintenance and repair.
manroland sees it as a component in the 'intelligent press' it plans to make available in the near future, with the MainPad as a necessary central hub for relevant information.
Functions offered include reading and acknowledging alarm messages where they happen, direct access to documentation, and a direct connection to the company's TeleSupportCenter via support calls and video.
The future oriented Maintellisense gets its name from 'maintenance, intelligence and sense' - the reality of linking the terms and providing the intelligent and predictive maintenance.
