Repeat orders are keeping press cleaning system manufacturer Techniweb busy, the Paris-based company says.

Janssen Pers - part of the Em de Jong Group - is to install the Technocleaner system across two manroland Colorman XXL towers at its Gennep print centre in the Netherlands, following an earlier commissioning on five Geoman towers.

The system will be interfaced with the press's PECOM controls for fully-automatic operation and cleaning of blankets, common impression cylinders, inking/dampening rollers and web leads.

Recent weeks have also seen two other large newspaper press installations. Established user L'Est Républicain is installing the system on nine Koenig & Bauer Commander towers - currently being assembled - while at French daily newspaper Sud Ouest, the Technocleaner system has been commissioned on a six-tower Colorman, interfaced with the press' ABB control system.

At regional daily L'Est Républicain, technical director Eric Singer has also confirmed an order for ink pumping station and water treatment equipment.

Techniweb has also launched a stylish new website at www.techniweb.eu
