UK-based subscription systems developer MPP Global is working with Zephr to add its paywall solution as part of a strategic partnership.
Warrington-headquartered MPP – which delivers the eSuite subs management and billing platform – plans a joint solution to optimise subscription revenues across print and digital channels.
MPP co-founder Paul Johnson says the outcome will provide a cutting-edge, highly specialised solution to build sustainable, long-term recurring revenue streams. “The two platforms have a rich heritage in media, participating in the growth and transformation over the years, and this partnership represents that evolution, as subscribers demand more tailored products, offers and experiences
MPP Global customers include McClatchy, The Times, the Daily Mail, L’Equipe, Racing Post, Torstar, the Irish Times, Telegraph Media Group, Jysk Fynske Medier and Yomiuri Shimbun, while Zephr’s include PEI Media, McClatchy, News Corp Australia and Dennis Publishing.
Zephr chief executive James Henderson (pictured) said the partnership would enable better user experiences and higher subscription revenues “when these objectives could not be more pressing”.
