Australia’s Judith Neilson Institute set to co-host the Asia Pacific arm of the Global Investigative Journalism Conference in November.

Previous guests have included Maria Ressa – a top target of Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte’s crackdown on news media – and Nobel Prize winner Joseph Stiglitz.

The conference will primarily be online from November 1-5, but organisers have “fingers crossed” that restrictions lift to allow in-person attendance at the Sydney sessions.

The conference is an excellent opportunity for Australian journalists to connect with international colleagues, learn new skills and meet leaders in the field.
Registration details are here.

The conference is the largest international gathering of investigative and data journalists, offering offers training, networking and collaboration opportunities.
