Joris van Leeuwen has joined Amsterdam-headquartered WoodWing Software from Unit4, an enterprise software company that originated in the city.
van Leeuwen joins the board as the chief commercial officer, alongside chief executive Ross Paterson, chief technology officer Amanda van der Leest-Rasch and chief financial officer Michael Shaughnessy.
In a similar role with Unit4’s domestic business, he built teams responsible for growth, product development and business transformation, and was a driving force for the merger between Unit4 domestic business and Exact in 2020.
WoodWing says van Leeuwen is joining at a time of growth and optimism following their recent acquisitions of Scienta and Expansion, increasing their foothold in the enterprise information management market.
The appointment will also help the further integration and streamlining of combined sales and marketing operations.
