After using it for many of its publications, Scandinavian giant Schibsted had opted to consolidate on Atex’s cross advertising product.

The multichannel Cross-advertising system will be used to book, plan and invoice advertising across all printed titles. Designed explicitly for selling advertising including print, digital, radio, video, outdoor and social, it provides an integration engine to allow connection with existing tools and processes.

Selection as preferred system was based on features including customisable booking, a dedicated flatplan application and the integration engine.

Operational excellence manager at Schibsted Marketing Services, Ann Kristin Gåsbakk said Schibsted found it “the perfect solution to consolidate our different brands and teams in a single system”.

The 183-year-old publishing company is now the region’s largest media group and employs more than 5000 people across Europe. Every day, Schibsted help millions of people be informed, buy, sell, find a job, with the ambition to create perfect matches through high-quality content, trusted marketplaces and innovative solutions. Its Aftenposten (founded in 1860), Bergens Tidende (1868), Stavanger Aftenblad (1893) and Verdens Gang (1945) are Norway’s leading newspapers and, with regional titles, make Schibsted the country’s leading media provider.
