UK and US developer MPP Global has recruited Jeff Spies to advance its subscriber management platform in the North American market.
Spies joins as head of subscription management, bringing more than 25 years’ publishing and financial services experience, most recently at American City Business Journals, where he was head of circulation sales and operations.
His role there included the build-out of their mar-tech stack and management of the software development team’s transition from waterfall to scrum agile, and leading their conversion to MPP’s eSuite platform.
Spies will be based out of the Boston office of parent Aptitude Software.
MPP Global’s clients include hayu, McClatchy, Torstar, L’Équipe, Daily Mail, Berliner Verlag and Jysk Fynske Medier.
