Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth has signed an ongoing technology partnership for its multi-language content.
Print production is integrated with web in the Atex CMS in which system and user interface are translated into Hebrew, and mixed languages – such as Roman and Hebrew – are supported in a single article.
A new agreement will see the publisher continue to use Atex technology in the production of its daily and weekly newspapers “in the coming years”.
IT and tech operations vice president Ofer Haim says the newspaper and media group – Israel’s largest – made the decision based on the vendor’s attitude and “incomparable” feature-rich software.
Atex is now part of Canada-headquartered Constellation Software.
