Toppan orders manroland press for China's high-end titles

Toppan Leefung Printing in Shenzhen, China, has ordered a 16-page Rotoman web to print high-end magazines including China editions of ‘Elle’, ‘Vogue’, ‘Ray’, ‘HIM’, ‘Bazaar’, ‘Marie Claire’, ‘Esquire’ and ‘Madame Figaro’.

The deal followed recommendations from Rotoman users Hangzhou Daily Group Shengyuan Printing Services and Shanghai Zhonghua Printing.

The single-web press is scheduled for start-up at the beginning of next year. It will be equipped with PPL plate loading and an integrated dryer with afterburner.
