PrintCity Alliance has named Ilka Grabener as its new director of fairs and events in the Ipex year of 2010. She holds both a diploma in economics and Master of organisational psychology, as well as having significant experience in the printing and packaging industry. At M-real Graphic Papers – where she was marketing director for west and south Europe – she organised and operated a variety of fairs, events and workshops in the graphics industry. She also gained experience in environmental and sustainability issues with the Metsäliitto Group. After 11 years in the paper industry including education in Finnish paper mills, she is now happy to connect her competence with other companies in the graphic industry through the PrintCity Alliance. She has been welcomed by Rainer Kuhn, PrintCity managing director: “With her broad range of experience she will very much strengthen our team and help to develop our fair and seminar approach and the whole Alliance. “Exhibitions and events are central to all our alliance activities, bringing the shared knowledge of our members to printing, packaging and publishing industry specialists worldwide,” he says.
