In advance of the PacPrint09 show, equipment vendor MAN Ferrostaal has upgraded its Melbourne showroom withg what it says is the most complete working demonstration of sheetfed technology in the city. New equipment includes the Roland 205E press released at DRUPA, as well as advanced finishing systems from MBO, Herzog and Heymann, Kolbus, Schnieder Senator, Purlux, Albo, Palamides and digital newspaper specialist Hunkeler. An addition to the portfolio is the range of Mosca strapping devices, and the showroom features Kodak plates, CTP systems and workflow, Lüscher CTP systems, Glunz & Jensen plate processors, Epson proofers and Techkon colour measurement systems. Managing director Markus Haefeli says this is the first time the company has had such a wide range of products, equipment and brand names under the one roof: “By having everything together in a single location, we are able to demonstrate productivity improvements, quality benefits and the convenience of having a single supplier for all equipment and consumable needs,” he says.
