WoodWing Software has merged its operations in north, central and south America in a new entity under the helm of Shawn Duffy.

As managing director of WoodWing The Americas, he will expand the company’s team to strengthen local support for customers and partners throughout the entire region.

Appointed new channel manager for Latin America
Jackie Bedoya comes from Aysling Digital Media Solutions, where she was chief operating officer for two years. She had previously founded publishing solutions group Orlando, a consultancy firm supporting large book publishers.

She brings more than 20 years of publishing expertise and ten years of software implementation.

Steve Schaffran, former general manager of WoodWing Latin America, has been appointed general manager education, to strengthen WoodWing´s global position in educational publishing.

Duffy says customers and partners in the Americas will benefit from the increased workforce, which includes Glen Graessley and Geoff Kehrer who joined as channel managers for North America in  October.

Chief executive Hans Janssen says WoodWing sees continued strong growth in the Americas: “As an example, the WoodWing community in Latin America has grown to 93 publishers in ten countries. With this integrated approach and the increased workforce, our team in the Americas is keeping pace with the market developments,” he says.
