Méthode developer EidosMedia has expanded into South America with the opening of a new office.

Jancarlo Nesto – previously with Atex and Unisys – has been named to manage the new subsidiary for Latin America based in São Paulo, Brazil. He also has extensive experience with IT project management and service delivery for the news and media sectors throughout the region.

Group chief executive Gabriella Franzini says she is confident his skills and experience will allow EidosMedia to bring the benefits of Méthode to an important new market.”

The company has also appointed Patrick Mawhood to head up its UK and Nordic operations. Mawhood joins from BSkyB’s Sky IQ division, where he was head of product development following several years at Reuters news agency in a range of product and technology roles. He will be based at the new London offices, close to customers including the Financial Times and News UK.
