Hamburg, Germany, based software companies ppi Media and Digital Collections have increased their presence in southeast Asia with the appointment of a sales partner in Thailand.
Following “increasing interest” in the solutions developed by the two companies, Bangkok-based Intergraphics (Thailand) has been appointed to offer the entire portfolio of solutions from both suppliers.
The new partner agreement will facilitate improved, more intensive assistance and support for customers and interested parties: “For a long time, Intergraphics has been held in high esteem in the Thai market,” says ppi Media head of international sales Christian Finder.
“We have also noted a trend towards digital media in Thailand. Therefore, our customers and interested parties rightly expect us to increase our presence.”
The agreement takes effect immediately.
ppi Media has been active in the southeast Asian market since 2003. Its customers include Post Publishing Company in Thailand, Singapore Press Holdings and MediaCorp in Singapore, and the Kompas Gramedia Group in Indonesia. Apart from a range of DC's archive solutions and ppi Media's classic products, PlanPag and AdPag – which are used to automate the planning and production of daily newspapers and magazines – publishers in the region are increasingly implementing crossmedia solutions such as AdX for integrated advertisement management for print, web, tablets and broadcasting, and the successful new Content-X multimedia editorial system solution.
