Paris daily Le Monde and its stablemates will use Mediaspectrum’s advertising software under a deal involving the subsidiaries of both.

Mediaspectrum’s Swiss-based subsidiary xentive – which provides business process outsourcing services – has signed with Le Monde advertising services subsidiary M-Publicité for the suite of advertising sales and production solutions.

M-Publicité handles advertising for almost 20 leading French media properties including Le Monde, M Le Magazine du Monde, Télérama, Huffington Post France and Le Nouvel Observateur.

“Integrating our disparate systems for print and digital into one unified advertising and digital commerce platform will greatly help us to manage, produce and sell more ads, while at the same time better control costs,” says Corinne Mrejen, who is chief executive of M-Publicité and Régie Obs.

Mediaspectrum supplies cloud-based technologies to manage content and streamline processes. Its CORE platform integrates and manages multichannel advertising, content and publishing for clients including Gannett, Trinity Mirror and Publicitas.

xentive, which is a subsidiary of Mediaspectrum and PubliGroupe, has a staff of 125.

• Mediaspectrum is among exhibitors at the World Publishing Expo  in Amsterdam, sharing space with strategic partner Arvato Systems. The company promises “a glimpse” of new platform developments including a CRM product which incorporates loyalty marketing and mobile sales enablement, and expanded inventory management functionality.

Among those at the show will be Asia Pacific managing director David Page.
