A customised version of 5 fifteen's adDepot booking system has been adopted by Hearst for its 335 magazines, 188 websites, radio and TV.
Hearst Advertising Worldwide is already implementing the UK-developed ad booking and processing software. The cloud-based system offers advertisers and clients direct centralised access to the expanded portfolio of Hearst and its partners.
Hearst HAW managing director Robert Schoenmaker says the need for a hub-based solution able to support operations in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and elsewhere created a unique dynamic with specific workflow processes. The adDepot system will handle display advertising bookings for print and online media, with users able to track and sell advertising directly and on behalf of representatives.
It has been customised so commercial relationship not just with third-party publishers but also other sales companies and agents can be defined. The system will control the full financial scope of every booking in the system, also managing the integration with both accounts receivable and payable. Workflow management accommodates differing relationships between sales reps, publishers and other hubs.
