Another caffeine hit for IT entrepreneurs

ppi Media is reprising its 2015 competition to promote up-and-coming digital businesses.

Under the banner of 'Free coffee for a year', it offers winning students, graduates and businesses in IT, media and computer science, a year's support with an office in Kiel, a network of experienced colleagues, modern infrastructure and, of course, coffee for free.

The winner will follow in the footsteps of Lokalportal, which won last year's competition.

Within eight months, the team from local online network Lokalportal grew from two founding members to four employees, and its field of application increased considerably.

"Whether it's a professional exchange of ideas or establishing business contacts or just having an interesting conversation with the guy next door, we felt good here," founders Justin Hallauer and Sebastian Penthin said. "We're very grateful for everything ppi Media has done for us and can only recommend that all upcoming enterprises compete."

ppi Media will announce the 2016 winner on June 6at this year's Open Days in Kiel, at which the young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their concept.

Candidates need to present their ideas by May 1, either as a website, draft concept, presentation, prototype or video. Contact Manuel Scheyda or visit www.coffeeforfree.de
