Three independent newspapers in the UK have opted for the browser-based VirtualCMS technology now delivered by Miles 33.
The separate publishers are all within a 35 km area west of London and close to Miles’ base in Bracknell, Berkshire. They are the Newbury Weekly News, the Henley Standard and Baylis Media’s Maidenhead Advertiser and Slough and Windsor Express.
All will address a growing need to deliver content to multiple devices and channels – internet, mobile and print – using the web CMS developed by VirtualCom Interactive. Baylis also plans to use the company’s PDF-driven and feed-driven mobile apps.
Editorial content will be gathered, authored and edited in Miles’ GN4, and the Newbury and Henley papers will also take the Gemstone ad system. The Henley Standard is a close neighbour to Miles 33 but was a customer of Newscycle.
