KBA is relocating a 48-page Compacta 618 heatset press from Portugal to an established customer in the outskirts of napes in Italy.
Azienda Commerciale Meridionale from Torre Del Greco, already has a 16-page Compacta 215 press, and says its is "only logical" to contract the maker to move its new acquisition.
The KBA-Digital & Web division will look after relocation, installation and commissioning. The press is scheduled to enter production at the end of 2016.
Established more than 50 years ago, ACM is a third-generation family business widely known for innovative and high-quality print products tailored specifically to individual customer needs.
The 48-page press has a cylinder circumference of 1240mm and maximum web width of 1450mm, and includes Patras M reel loading, Pastomat RC reelstand, infeed unit, four printing units, chill-roller stand, superstructure and a P5 pin folder.
