manroland has signed an order for three web presses to Ethiopian printer TBO Printing & Publishing.

The German manufacturer - which these days calls itself the "best remaining provider" for printing equipment - will supply two Cromoman coldset presses and a Rotoprint HiPrint commercial web to the African customer, working with sales and service partner VIP Systems.

The Cromoman presses will print schoolbooks, while plans for the Rotoman heatset press include magazines, inserts and other commercial products.

Both the newspaper presses and the commercial press will be specified with with manroland web systems' latest automation features for high efficiency, productivity and quality.
