Stimulating opinion and information are promised at this year’s Digital Media Asia event, being held in Singapore in October.
Among speakers are Australian media advisor Chris Janz, now a member of WAN-Ifra’s new expert panel, Jagran New Media chief executive Bharat Gupta, and Agnes Stenbom, head of Schibsted’s In/Lab (below).
Two speakers who have moved recently to new roles are former SPH marketing chief Geof Tan – now heading events and partnerships at Singapore’s Association of Advertising & Marketing, following a stint at Blockchain specialist OIO – and Irene Jay Liu (top) who has moved on from Google to be regional director of the International Fund for Public Interest Media.
Also speaking at the conference (October 19-20) are Fathm founder Fergus Bell, Marion Wyss (editor-in-chief of France’s The Audiencers), Marium Chaudhry (founder of Pakistan’s The Current), AFP regional editor-in-chief Mehdi Lebouachera, digital media expert Nicholas Sagau (Rev Media), and NYC-based digital communications scholar Sree Sreenivasan.
Digital Media Asia is the region’s largest news media industry event on digital trends, revenue and technology, and is returning for its fifteenth year.
The conference is organised into two tracks – the Digital Revenue Summit and the Technology Summit. More details here.
