A programme of continuous improvement has seen German media group Wittich upgrade finishing at its Herbstein print site.

Linus Wittich, a market leader for official and information journals in Germany, prints newspapers at three sites.

Fruits of a two-million Euros (A$3.31 million) investment with Swiss mailroom maker Ferag has added an SNT-50 trimming drum, supported by a MultiStack compensating stacker. The drum system ensures precise three-sided trimming of the newspapers and guarantees the highest quality in the finishing process, seamlessly integrating into existing logistics infrastructure.
