Australian trade association GASAA is looking for entries for its annual Printovation awards contest for “innovative print”.
Categories include web printing and variable and non-variable digital printing (including crossmedia), and entries must have been produced between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012.
Executive director Garry Knespal says the competition recognises and celebrates innovation, creativity and high quality in print by acknowledging· Australian creative and print professionals who push the boundaries of print at a consistently high standard.
“Creatives, printers and their supply industry partners are encouraged to submit new print jobs that have challenged and extend your staff and exceeded your clients' expectations,” he says. “In considering your entries we are looking at things that are done differently.”
And what constitutes innovation? “While it may be hard to define, we all do know innovation when we see it,” he says.
Entries must be in by September 10, with presentations taking place at a dinner at Dockside, Cockle Bay Wharf, Darling Harbour, on September 24.
