With local agent SL Kulkarni Cyril Graphics, the press maker will show solutions for newspaper, commercial and packaging applications.

The Magnum HPS – the latest addition to its newspaper portfolio – is a simple one-around press designed for production speeds of up to 70,000 cph.

In the 4x1 format favoured in India for the flexibility to change single plates for high numbers of localised editions, Goss offers the Universal XL in web widths up to 1700 mm. Current installations include Union Printing in Italy, where flyers are produced for one of Europe’s largest supermarket chains without a dryer.

For commercial printing applications Goss will focus on the 16-page M-500 and best-selling M-600 systems.

Web offset is also offered as a viable alternative for folding carton, flexible packaging, pre-print and label printing with Goss’s Sunday Vpak press series, now available in two models with quick-change blankets and printing cylinder sleeves to enable variable repeat lengths.

Goss is a a sponsor of the NPES trade mission to Printpack India and is participating in the Print Business Outlook Conference which runs concurrently with the exhibition. Goss’s Tim Mercy will join a panel of speakers discussing ‘offset and digital – complementing not competing’.

As local representative for Shanghai Electric Corporation, S L Kulkarni Cyril Graphics will also present equipment from Purlux, Akiyama and other brands under the SEC umbrella.
