Goss has been running a variety of film substrates on its Sunday Vpak press in a week of demonstrations in the US.

The demonstration week at the company’s US headquarters focused on flexible packaging applications, and followed one for folding carton and pre-printed liner applications at the New Hampshire plant last year.

Packaging producers from Europe and North America attended customised demonstrations using film substrates ranging from nine micron PET to 28 micron BOPP at web widths of more than one metre.

The Sunday Vpak 500 and Vpak 3000 web offset presses print at up to 457 metres per minute. Key features include quick-change sleeve adapter technology and advanced offset inking, tension and control systems.
