'Hits' to the new gxpress.net website topped 100,000 last week, less than three months after the new online resource was launched.

Currently there have been 102,700 'hits' and more than 2300 visits to the site since it went live at the end of July.

"We're delighted with the response," says managing editor Peter Coleman. "So far we have promoted the site only through the print edition of GXpress, but we're aware that a large number of new users visited the site during and after the PANPA conference."

GXpress is a media partner of the IfraExpo conference in Amsterdam at the end of this month.

The website includes sections focussed both for the departments within a newspaper, and also for their geographic area of operation. There are also links to industry sites and a space for opinions.
