Newspaper people from 'across the ditch' have a special invitation to this year's SWUG New Zealand conference.

The event is planned for August 19-20 in Rotorua with a site visit to the Norske Skog paper mill in Kawerau, 58 km away, and a theme of 'Print with Passion'.

"With no Australian SWUG this year an invitation has been sent to a number of print businesses in Australia to attend, and suppliers may also want to take the opportunity to encourage those across the ditch to attend," says president Dan Blackbourn.

Norske Skog Tasman, Böttcher Australia, Hostmann-Steinberg NZ, DIC New Zealand, FujiFilm NZ, DS Chemport and Global Press Technologies are among sponsors.
