Don Gustafson has left US single-width press manufacturer Tensor, of which he was president. The company says chairman Martin Hozjan will take over his responsibilities. Specific details of Gustafson's departure have not been disclosed, but Hozjan has praised his efforts for the company and wished him well in “future endeavours”. Hozjan says he is excited by the new structure which will enable Tensor to “continue to grow its worldwide business and provide excellent products and service to its customers." He says Tensor Group is a family-owned business and the Hozjan family will continue to have active roles in its management. Until the beginning of this year, Hozjan was president of MAH Machine Co, a machine shop in Cicero, Illinois, founded in 1976 and also owned by the Hozjan family. "We have been experiencing consistent growth over the past ten years and look forward to continuing to successfully grow the company,” he says. “We are in the process of developing new products that will position us to be the complete single-width supplier to our customers." Tensor Group makes single-width web-offset press equipment for commercial, insert and newspaper markets worldwide, and has installed more than 2400 units in 36 countries since its inception in 1993. Press components are designed, manufactured and assembled in the USA at a modern facility in the Chicago area.
