Author of The Medici Effect, Frans Johansson has taken charge of the DRUPA Cube seminars at the giant May/June trade show.

Organisers say the Cube programme is largely set, with primary partner for development and delivery of content named as innovation firm The Medici Group and Johansson who is its founder and chief executive and a "go-to expert" for concepts of thinking and acting outside fixed limits.

Worldwide brands including American Express, IBM, Nike, Volvo and Walt Disney Company are among users of the group's strategic expertise.

"With the Medici Group, we have precisely the right partner at our side for DRUPA Cube," says DRUPA director Sabine Geldermann. "A consistent approach to change management is absolutely necessary to master the challenges in the print, packaging and media sectors.

"I (am) extremely pleased that we will be presenting a high quality and clearly structured programme that will appeal both to the print and media industry as well as to web agencies, brands and print buyers, with the Medici Group and other impressive thought leaders at its core."

Keynote speakers are Johansson(May 31 and June 2), Silas Amos (June 6) and Shane Wall (June 8).

Five streams will be mixed through the 11 days - 12 each of 30 minutes on business evolution; 11 on technology; six 'intersectional' sessions, led by Medici Group; and four invitation-only slots aimed at C-level management level, exhibitors and visitors.

A provisional programme will be online from February and finalised by March. Participation is free to DRUPA visitors.
