SWUG New Zealand's annual awards will be held at the Te Papa Museum in Wellington, president Dan Blackbourn says.
"Planning is well underway for the 2016 conference, which will be held at the Copthorne Hotel on the picturesque Oriental Parade not far from the bars and shopping in downtown Wellington," he says.
"The awards evening at the Te Papa Museum is in walking distance from the hotel, and the informal evening will be held at the Copthorne and will have a James Bond twist to it."
Blackbourn says the conference - on August 3-4 - is shaping up to be "the best of all times with a line up of fantastic presentations and guest speakers that will ensure that you are riveted to your seat".
Delegates will be able to book accommodation shortly through the SWUG website, and cheap flights are currently available from Air New Zealand and Jetstar.
"Sponsors are coming on board as we speak and this conference would not go ahead without their support," he says.
