'Intuitive' parts store goes live

manroland web systems is pitching for a greater share of the spare parts market with its planned e-commerce site upgrade.

Following announcements and a DRUPA showing, the new Store opened on Friday.

"Intuitively at all times and also on the go, by using a laptop, tablet or smartphone," the company says.

It offers spare and wear part management in a "completely revamped" online shop, designed by Hamburg-based e-matters.

The company promises "professional expertise with convenient operation" from a site that "comes close to (consumer sites)". The outstanding fast, flexible and convenient spare parts supply represents "a real added value," it says.

Advantages for customers include original parts, with optimised high machine performance across the entire life cycle. A wide range of parts are available from the warehouse "at short notice".
