Press maker manroland says it is contributing to the Olympic effort of Brazilian publisher O Globo with the technology which brings locals the latest news.

A daily special edition, O Globo Olympic targets visitors to the Olympic Games in Rio with the news of the moment , distributed in the busy Olympic Park among other locations.

The publisher's 1998 Geoman press - which is regularly updated by manroland web systems - remains one of the longest newspaper presslines in the world.

And to prove that it can still deliver the goods on quality, the Brazilian newspaper is among leaders in WAN-Ifra's 2016-2018 International Newspaper Color Quality Club (INCQC), and one of a number printed on the maker's equipment.
