Slovenian printer Salomon Print will is upgrading outdated register automation with a new colour control system.

The Ljubljana-based concern will install QI Press Controls' mRC-3D cameras for register and cut-off on its manroland Rotoman N.

Technical director Andrej Semen says replacement was "absolutely essential" and will make a big difference: "We're counting on the reliability of these systems to bring about big savings in waste when it comes to colour and cut-off control," he says.
