Automated PDF quality assurance and archiving solutions provider Callas software is planning another pdfCamp event next month.
It follows a successful gathering earlier this year.
The eighth pdfCamp is planned for October 12-13 in Berlin, and will provide an opportunity for users, developers and PDF experts to exchange ideas, experiences and knowledge.
The two-day platform for learning and close exchange around PDF includes a series of workshops including topics such as workflow profiles in prepress and ‘how to use’ sessions.
Developers, product managers, and members of the Callas software management team will be present at pdfCamp and will answer questions that arise as well as questions that are brought along with their in-depth expertise.
Callas managing director Dietrich von Seggern says the pdfCamp has become an established event, adding, “but we also always take away suggestions and ideas from the discussions during the event on how we can further optimise our products.”
In addition to mainstream uses, the technology is used as a programming library for developers who need to optimise, validate and correct PDFs.
