Almost 110,000 trade visitors are said to have attended the All in Print China exhibition this month, the ninth show to have been held in Shanghai.

Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) says the show broke records, covering more than 110,000 m2 and with 1003 printing and packaging industry suppliers from 14 countries and regions including China, Germany, India, Korea, and Japan, taking part.

The four-day event – which closed on November 4 – was attended by 108,136 trade visitors from 126 countries, making a total of 148,165 visits. The 10,164 international visitors accounted for only about ten per cent of visitors.

Division director Evian Gu says the show' 20th anniversary symbolised a fresh beginning: “All in Print 2023 met its high expectations with a record-breaking exhibition space and the highest number of visitors in the history of the event.

“This achievement further proves the rapid rebound of the global printing industry.”

He said long-awaited international buyers showed a “strong intention” to buy, with purchasing demand from domestic companies – which had also rebounded clearly from the first half of the year – fostering a fervent trading atmosphere during the event.

The show at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) occupied nine halls, and included two specialized zones – for printing digitisation and innovation – as well as a feature on print digitalisation in the Yangtze River Delta.

Among international exhibitors were Canon, Epson, Kyocera, manroland Goss, Dupont, Tesa, DIC Corporation, Toyo Ink and APP, with Chinese makers including Masterwork, Founder, Zenbo, UP Group, Zhongde, Guangming, JMD, Ounuo, Jingang, Fangbang, Shield, Inkj, Cron and Weigang.

DRUPA director Sabine Geldermann said she was pleased with the development of the DRUPA member show.

A series of 38 programmes were live-streamed before and during the show have scored more than 200,000 views online.

All in Print China returns to SNIEC next year, October 28-31, 2024, for its tenth anniversary there.
